Help us build a new boardwalk at Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve

It’s an exciting time at Sculthorpe. Work on extending the reserve began last summer and is now well underway. Although heavy rain in December 2019 caused some delays, we have started on new buildings and clearing scrub on the new land. The next big part of the project is to construct pathways so that visitors can enjoy the new landscape.

As you will know, all the existing reserve is fully accessible and we are fully committed to making the extra land accessible too. This means that our valiant band of volunteers will be laying 4500 new boards! Our hope is that each and every board will have a sponsor, whose number will be shown on the board and in a specially printed book on show in the Visitor Centre.

By buying a board you will show how much you care for Sculthorpe, its wildlife and its reputation for inclusivity. With a much longer walk to get around the reserve, we will ensure that there are plenty of places to stop and have a rest and watch the wildlife at your leisure.

You can Get on Board too by sponsoring a board, the boards are just £15 each
